Frequently Asked Questions.
What is an MP3 Music Files?
The MP3 format is a
compression system for music. The MP3 format helps reduce the number of bytes
in a song without hurting the quality of the sound. The goal of the MP3
format is to compress a CD-quality song by a factor of 10 to 14 without
noticably affecting the CD-quality sound. With MP3, a 32-megabyte (MB) song
on a CD compresses down to about 3 MB. This lets you download a song in
minutes rather than hours, and store hundreds of songs on your computer's
hard disk or burn like 200 songs on one cd.
Are
MP3s legal?
Mp3 is just a file type and
there is nothing illegal about that.
MP3s and file-sharing
networks are legal and using them is also legal. Inside the member's area of
the reviewed sites you will find a section dedicated on showing how to stay
100% legal while getting access to the largest file sharing networks.
How do I play MP3 Music files?
To play mp3files you'll
need a player. This can be WinAMP ( download here) or Windows Media Player,
but there are many other MP3 players out there which you can find inside the
member's area of the reviewed sites. Just double click the mp3 file and the
mp3 player will play your song. You can also burn your songs onto a CD and
play it on your home stereo or car CD player.
Why
join a paysite when I could use a free service?
Like most of the time
nothing is really for free. Many of the filesharing programs give no support
and come with adware and spyware that will take over your computer, bomb you
with popups and slow down your computer dramaticly.
How
do I burn a mp3 file on a CD!
First of all you'll need a
CD burner or a DVD burner (a DVD burner can also burn CDs).
If you did not yet get CD
burning software with you burner you can find the software inside the members
area of the reviewed sites. The tutorials that you'll find inside the sites
will guide you through and show you how easy it is to burn your own CDs and
DVDs.
